Welcome to the 2007 Virginia / West Virginia Water Research Symposium website!
November 26-30, 2007
“Connecting Management to Aquatic Communities”
The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center
Virginia Tech
Blacksburg, VA

Participants learned about innovative monitoring methods, new modeling techniques, and current research findings, gained new insights into biological and chemical water quality contaminants, and obtained a better understanding of water conflicts and collaborations. They networked with others to share ideas on ways to protect and restore our region's waters - groundwater, streams and rivers, lakes, wetlands, and the Chesapeake Bay.
Topics spanned a wide range of water quality and water supply issues. The symposium consisted of a plenary session, more than 80 oral presentations, and workshops.
